• Junior infants will finish at 1.40 from today. As children have now settled well back into school we would ask that all parents of infants encourage their children to walk in from the door by themselves...
• Reminder that school is closed next Monday September 25^th.
• County Photos will visit the school on Friday September 29^th to photograph the children. Proofs of photos will be sent to each family but there is no obligation to purchase photos. If you do wish to buy the photos details will be sent with proofs.
• The Parents Association will hold a meeting on Tuesday evening at 8pm in the school. New members are most welcome. The parents association is a lovely way to meet new parents, to make a contribution to your child’s education and to get regular updates on school life. We would love to see some new faces!
• The U11 footballers have a match this Tuesday in Eadestown against Rathmore at 11.30 am. We are looking for drivers to transport the children and will leave the school at 10.50. Please contact the office on 401495 if you are available to drive.
• Our senior hurlers have their first match on Thursday next 21^st at 1pm in Dunlavin
• Reminder to parents to ensure your child’s (ren’s) names are on all items of clothing. A number of jumpers/tops have already been misplaced.
• Speech and Drama and vocal music lessons begin this week and basketball continues. Payment is required before children attend. Reminders will be issued to those still to pay. As always if anyone has any problems please contact Michael Moran in confidence.

Lessons are as follows:

Drama €35 (Junior Infants, Senior Infants/1^st/3^rd/ Solas classes

Basketball €10 (2^nd/3rd/6^th, Solas senior)

Vocal music lessons €28 (2^nd/3^rd/4^th/5^th/6^th)

• We would ask that money for school charges be placed in an envelope with the child’s name written on the outside. Receipts will be issued for all payments. Payment can also be made online at the following BIC and IBAN. Please reference your child’s name if you are paying by this method.
