  • Our Junior Infants have settled in well and will continue to go home at 12.00 until Friday. From Monday next 18th they will go home at 1.40.
  • If you are not receiving emails or have moved house or changed email or phone no. since last year, could you please contact the school office at 401495 to update your details.
  • As children have now settled well back into school we would ask that all parents remain at the front of the school and not gather on the school yard at the back. If for any reason you need to contact the class teacher, please do so by coming to the front door and ringing the bell.
  • Dunlavin Town library have MY Little Library bags for all Junior Infant children that have started school this year. They can be collected from Maura in Dunlavin library.
  • County Photos will be in the school on Friday 29th September to photograph the children. Proofs of the photos will be distributed to each family who can then decide if they want to purchase them.
  • Please note a change in our school calendar that was emailed to parents last week. Parent teacher meetings for children from Senior Infants – 6th will now take place on 29/30 November. Junior Infant meetings will take place on 7/8 February.
  • We would ask all children to have a coat with them as they will be going out at breaktimes unless the rain is very heavy. We would also ask that any children that want to play football from 1st – 6th, bring a change of shoes and change of bottoms with them from now on as ground will be getting mucky.
  • U 11 Gaelic football training for boys in 4th and 5th classes starts this Tuesday 12th after school. This is for any boys who were born in 2012 or 2013.Training will end at 3.45p.m.
  • Hurling training for 4/5/6 will take place every Thursday after school until 3.45pm.
  • Basketball has started for 3/4/6 classes and Solas senior last week and vocal music lessons in class and drama will start next week. These lessons must be paid for and are included in the school fees. If payment is not received we will assume that you do not want your child to take part in the lessons. As always if anyone has any problems please contact Michael Moran in confidence.

  • All school fee payments must be paid in an envelope with the child’s name written on the outside and an indication of what the fees are covering also written on the outside of the envelope. Receipts will be issued for all payments. Payment can also be made online at the following BIC and IBAN. Please reference your child’s name if you are paying by this method.
