The annual Cumann na mBunscoil Cross Country event will take place in Valleymount on Tuesday October 14th. 4 boys and 4 girls have been chosen from each class to represent the school. Children that are going are asked to wear their school tracksuit and white polo shirt and runners. They can wear shorts under their tracksuit if they wish to run in shorts. Lunch should be brought in a separate bag. Each child is asked to bring €5 for the bus.
We welcome Eric Hanlon who joins us as our new caretaker from this Monday.
Our U11 boy’s football team play in the Kildare final this Tuesday October 14th In Moorefield GAA club at 3.15. We will leave the school at 2pm. Best of luck to them.
Basketball continues each week for 4/5/6 classes and Solas.
Andy is here each Thursday for Gaelic Football coaching with 2/3 classes.
Reminder that the school will be closed on Friday October 24th for the Presidential Election.
School will be closed for mid-term break from Monday October 27th to Friday October 31st.
We would ask all parents to refrain from parking in school car parks, or in the bus bay in the morning or evening. We would also ask you to remind children not to enter or exit the school grounds through either car park for their own safety.
Reminder to parents of 6th class students to return application forms to St. Kevin’s Community College.
