Newsletter October 12th

We would ask all parents/guardians and family members to remember to keep their social distance when dropping and collecting their children, both inside and outside the school grounds.

If you need to drop something to the school (forgotten lunch etc.) please ring front door bell. Items can be left with principal/secretary.

If you need to enter the school for some reason, please remember to wear a mask and sign the contact tracing log which is located inside the main door.

Music generation began last week. We would like to welcome Ailbhe Keogh, Todd Doyle and Fiona Melady.

Ailbhe is working on a music programme with 3rd/4th/5th and 6th classes. She has also begun flute lessons with some students. This will continue each Wednesday.

Todd has begun guitar lessons and this will continue each Thursday.

Fiona is taking students for piano lessons. This continues each Wednesday.

Cormac Noone is here each Thursday for Gaelic Football coaching. A big thank you to him.

Our soccer league has reached semi-final stage. These will be played this week followed by a final on Thursday.

Please keep an eye on the Seesaw online learning platform this week. If your child is unable to log on please contact your child’s teacher.

We would like to remind parents about any outstanding school fees. If there is any difficulty please contact the principal.

As we approach the end of our first term in school we are pleased to say that our Junior Infants have settled in very well.

For those interested RTE are running a show called After School Hub on RTE 2 Mon – Fri from 3.00 – 4.00p.m.
