Newsletter Oct 19

Newsletter October 19th

As we approach the end of the first term we would like to thanks all the children and parents for their co-operation in observing the new guidelines around the school. Can we remind all parents/guardians and family members to remember to keep their social distance when dropping and collecting their children, both inside and outside the school grounds. Can we ask parents not to drop their children to school too early, particularly on wet mornings as with current restrictions we cannot allow them access to school until 9 o’ clock.

If you need to drop something to the school (forgotten lunch etc.) please ring front door bell. Items can be left with principal/secretary.

We would ask all children and parents to enter and exit the school grounds via the two pedestrian entrances. We would ask that no parent or child enter the grounds through either car park. This is in the interest of safety, as there have been a few close calls.

We would also like to remind parents that the school car parks are for staff cars only. This applies also at collection time for students in St. Kevin’s Community College.

Proofs of photographs were distributed to the children last week. If you are interested in ordering photos please place the money in the envelope provided and return it to Christine in the school office. Alternately photos can be ordered online. Please follow instructions on the envelope to do so.
