- We will have a Christmas Carol Service on Thursday December 11th at 7p.m. in St. Nicholas of Myra church. Children from Junior Infants, 1st, 3rd and 5th classes will sing some carols on the night. Unfortunately due to lack of space we have to limit the number of classes performing.
- The PA are organising a Christmas Movie Night for all children on Friday night, November 21st at 7pm. Please see poster attached.
- We would like to express our sympathy to our bus escort Madeline Burke on the death of her mother Christina Keeley. May Christina RIP.
- Unfortunately we can no longer take orders for Folens Christmas Annuals but they can be ordered online for €3.
- Please see attached a link to a survey from the Department of Education. They are seeking people’s opinions on the patronage and denomination of all schools. Please click the link and complete the survey to have your say. ie/primaryschoolsurvey
- The book fair arrived last week and will be with us until this Wednesday. Children from 6th class will collect children from their classes each day if they wish to purchase books. Parents are welcome to the fair in the mornings and evenings. The school will receive 60% of the value of books sold in the form of new books to restock our library and classrooms.
- We would ask all parents to make sure that their child(ren) are wearing the correct uniform each day and correct school tracksuit on PE days. Please also make sure that your child’s name is on all items of clothing including jackets.
- The school choir have been asked to sing at a Christmas concert in St. Nicholas of Myra church on Sunday evening December 21st with the Ballymore Concert Band at 7p.m. They have also been asked to sing at the turning on of the Christmas lights on 6th December at 6.30 outside the playground. They have also been asked to sing in our local nursing home on December 17th. This very busy group of children are being looked after by Ms. Keogh, Ms. Flood and Mr .O Neill
- We will have a visitor from the North Pole on Wednesday December 16th.
- Parent teacher meetings for children for Senior Infants, 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class will take place on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th Times were issued for all classes on Friday. 2nd class will receive a date in due course and infant meetings will take place in February
