*Thank you to all who contributed shoes for our In My Shoes Campaign. The shoes were collected last week for delivery to South Africa.
*Please note that the school will close for children on Monday 19th June at 12 o’clock to facilitate in-service training in the New Primary Curriculum Framework.
*A massive thank you to Elaine Kelly who raised €2000 for Solas through Run a Muck.
*A big thank you to all the parents that have driven to matches/events. It is much appreciated.
*Well done to our girls’ football and camogie teams that were in action last week. The football team beat Ballymore but lost to Crookstown by 1 point after extra time. The camogie team had a good win against Castledermot on Friday and will be in action again on Monday against Kilcullen at 11, leaving the school at 10.20.
*First confession takes place on Tuesday next 16th May at 7p.m... Reminder First Communion is on Saturday May 27th at 11a.m.
*4th class travel to Dublin this Wednesday to visit the National Museum and the Natural History Museum.
* Our Senior hurling team took part in a blitz in Kiltegan last Wednesday. They played against teams from Talbotstown, Donard, Tyknock and Knockananna.
*Swimming continues this Wednesday for children in 2nd and 3rd classes and Solas Senior.
