School will close at 12 on Friday April 11th for Easter and will reopen on Monday April 28th.
6th class will go on their retreat for Confirmation to the Dominican Retreat centre inTallaght this Friday.
The Ceremony of Light for Confirmation will take place on Tuesday 29th April during 8 o’clock Mass.
Please ensure your child has their correct uniform on each day apart from PE days. For PE days the school tracksuit must be worn. As the weather gets better children are allowed to wear shorts but they must be either the grey or navy uniform shorts.
Reminder: First Penance for First Holy communion Children will take place in St. Nicholas of Myra Church on Tuesday 8th April at 7pm.
The BOM meet this Tuesday at 8pm.
As part of our Active schools all classes will do some skipping each day in ‘Skip around Europe’. Each skip equates to a kilometre and classes will pick a European destination and try to use their combined skipping total to cover the distance.
Well done to Tomás Moore, Jack Corrigan, Seán Birchall, Emily Quinn and Lily Daniels who took part in the Cumann na MBunscoil skills competition in Blessington last Thursday. Best of luck to Jack who has qualified to take part in the County Finals this Friday in Ballinakill.
Congratulations to Evan Miley and TJ Harney who have been chosen to represent Wicklow in a half time game during the Wicklow/Longford Leinster Championship match next Sunday in Glennon Bros Pearse Park, Longford, next Sunday.
It’s a busy week ahead for our school teams. Our senior boys’ football team play Kilmeague in the Kildare League this Tuesday at 12 o’ clock in Dunlavin. Our senior girls’ team play Allenwood this Wednesday in Dunlavin at 12. Our U10 Boys’ team play Crookstown this Friday in Dunlavin at 11.30.
Please note there will be no boys senior or U11 training this week due to the matches. There will be hurling training as normal.
