Newsletter June 27th

*Congratulations to all the children in 6th class who graduated Friday. They were a credit to our school and we wish them the very best as they make the transition to secondary school.

*All our school tours have now taken place. The children received many compliments for their excellent behaviour at the various venues.

*The choir travel to the cinema tomorrow as a thanks for their commitment all year. Many thanks to Sinéad Keogh and Lisa Boland who look after the choir.

*Wellness Day took place last Friday and was very successful. Many thanks to Aoife Kiely and Éilise Dunne for their hard work in making it a success.

*A uniform swap will take place on Wednesday at 1.40pm in the school hall. If you wish to donate any old uniforms please drop them into the office before then. It is always handy to have a spare jumper or tracksuit top! Children may wear their own clothes Wednesday and Thursday.

*We will be having a ceremony to raise our Green Flag on Global Citizenship and Waste this Tuesday, June 28th. Our flag will be raised by former teacher Geraldine Whyte who was our green schools co-ordinator. Many thanks to Karen Raleigh and Éilise Dunne for continuing Geraldine’s great work.

*Senior infant teachers for next year will be as follows:

Ms.Dunne’s current class will be taught by Ms.Kiely

Ms.Kiely’s current class will be taught by Mrs. Allen

*School closes for the Summer holidays at 12 o clock and re-opens on Wednesday August 31st.

A school calendar will be issued this week.
