*Congratulations to all the children who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. Thanks to the Parent’s Association for providing the refreshments also and to children in 1st class for providing goodies.

*Graduation mass for 6th class takes place this Tuesday in St. Nicholas of Myra Church at 8pm. 6th class will finish this Friday and will be clapped out at the end of the day

*Junior and Senior Infants travel to Lullymore on their school tour on Tuesday,3rd class travel to the Sports Complex in Blanchardstown on Wednesday, 4th class travel to the Aquatic Centre on Thursday and 6th class travel to Dunmore Adventure Centre also on Thursday.

*We are having a Wellness day in school on Friday next. The children will take part in various activities in the school.

*Reminder if children are wearing shorts with their uniform they should be grey in classes 1st-6th and navy in Junior and Senior Infants.

*We will be having a ceremony to raise our Green Flag on Global Citizenship and Waste on June 28th.

*6th class and 5th class will perform excerpts from musicals and some sketches in the Imaal Hall on Tuesday at 11am. Parents are welcome to attend.

*St. Nick’s Ladies are hosting a National School Disco on June 24 from 7-9p.m in the Imaal Hall. €5 entry fee. Tuck shop also.

  • Thanks to everyone for your continued support in relation to Covid guidelines. Just to remind you that:
  1. Children and staff are to remain at home if symptomatic.
  2. Hand hygiene is to continue and parents should speak to their children about its importance.
  3. Face coverings are no longer mandatory for staff or pupils but may be worn if the individual wishes to do so.
  4. The wearing of masks on school transport is advised but not mandatory.
  5. Antigen tests may still be accessed by parents by phone at 1800110055 or online at www.hse.ie/schooltest

(Please note: participation in antigen testing is on a voluntary basis. Children who are well and not symptomatic should continue to attend school even if participating in antigen testing) Roll no. 17810G

  1. Where there is a positive case in special classes such as Solas the School Public Health will undertake a public health risk assessment if the positive case was in school during the infectious period.
