NEWSLETTER – June 17th 2024

• The school will close on Friday June 28^th at 12 noon for the summer holidays. It will reopen on Wednesday August 28^th.
• We will have a uniform swap/exchange in the school hall at 1.30pm on Wednesday 26th. Children can wear their own clothes from next Monday June 24th to allow parents the opportunity to have uniforms clean if they want to exchange them
• Reminder that new school uniforms are available to purchase from the Back to School Shop on Cutlery Road, Newbridge. If children are wearing shorts with their uniform they should be grey in classes 1^st-6^th and navy on PE days and navy in Junior and Senior Infants.
• We have been asked to add eircodes to all the addresses we have for children in the school. Christine will be in touch to get eircodes for any children that we don’t have yet.
• We will have some old green legged chairs available if anyone wishes to take some from next week. Contact the school office if anyone is interested.
• A note will be sent next week with class teachers for next year where they are known. Not all class teachers have been confirmed for next year as interviews have to take place over the summer. As soon as this is done, a message will be sent to all families.
• 6^th class graduation Mass takes place this Tuesday evening at 8pm.
• 6^th class will be clapped out this Wednesday at 2.40. They will travel on their school tour to Delphi on Thursday and Friday.
• We are currently organising music lessons for next year. If anyone new is interested, please contact the school office on 045-401495. This year lessons cost €280 and next year’s will probably be the same. Instruments offered are piano and guitar. Places for piano are full but there are still some places for guitar.
• Our Junior Infant welcome meeting takes place this Tuesday at 1.45.
