Newsletter December 21st

Newsletter December 21st

We would like to thank the entire school community for their continued efforts with regard to social distancing and Covid protocols since the school reopened in August.

If your child is unwell, we would kindly ask that you don’t send them to school but rather contact your GP for advice.

Santa arrived at the school last Thursday. Please see website for photos.

Many thanks to you all for supporting our sale of reindeer food and to Little Brew and Whelan’s Pharmacy for helping with the sales. All proceeds will go to Solas.

Applications for enrolment to our Junior Infant class for 2021/22 will begin on Jan 1st and finish on January 31st. Application forms can be obtained from the school office, or alternately applications can be made through our school website.

We would like to remind parents and children that we don’t allow the exchanging of Christmas cards or presents in school to avoid children being left out.

This is a reading week so no written homework will be issued.

This Tuesday December 22nd, in place of our normal Giving Tree for Saint Vincent de Paul, we will hold a no uniform day. All proceeds will go to Saint Vincent de Paul.

Reminder that we will close for Christmas Holidays on Tuesday December 22nd at 12.00 and reopen on Wednesday Jan 6th.

We would like to wish all our children, parents, staff and the wider school community a happy, healthy and safe Christmas.
