Newsletter December 12th 2021
- Please continue to be vigilant if your child is displaying any covid symptoms and do not to send children to school if they are unwell.
- Reindeer food still available in all classes. It costs €1 and all proceeds go to Solas.
- Our fundraising cookbook is due to arrive Tuesday. We are taking pre orders, the book costs €12 or 2 for €20. A lovely Christmas present for friends and family. Money can be sent in with your child in an envelope with your child’s name on it or can be paid via on line banking (details below) If paying on line please reference your child’s name in payment. We would really appreciate your support.
- This week is a reading week, children will not receive any written homework. This is a nice opportunity to spend some extra time reading with your child and encouraging independent reading for older children.
- Our school bookfair raised €2670, the school will receive €1602 in free books. Many thanks for your support.
- School will close at 12 o clock on December 22nd. On that day we will have a Christmas jumper charity fundraiser. Money raised will go to our local St.Vincent De Paul and Brain Tumour Ireland.
- Enrolments for September 2022 Junior Infant class will be accepted from January 1st to January 31st. Enrolment forms are available in the school office or can be filled in on line on our school website at snndunlavin@gmail.com.
Children must be 4 years old by 31-3-22
- If you have changed address or phone number recently could you please let us know.
- We would ask that children do not exchange Christmas gifts or cards in school as this can cause upset to those not included.
