*Well done to our school teams who took part in various competitions last week. Our senior boys had a good win over Gaelscoil Athy on Tuesday. Our Senior girls were narrowly defeated by Athgarvan on Friday. Our U10 boys lost out to a narrow defeat in Castledermot on Thursday and our 3rd and 4th class boys took part in a blitz in Hollywood on Friday and played really well.
*This week our Senior Girls play Milltown in Dunlavin on Monday at 12. Please remind girls involved from 4/5/6 classes to have their gear with them on Monday,
* Our Senior Boys play Nurney in Dunlavin at 10.15 on Tuesday.
* U10 boys play Two Mile House in Dunlavin on Thursday at 12.
*As the weather is finally getting better the children will be able to start using the school pitches for football at break times. Please note that they must have a change of trousers and footwear.
*The BOM meet this Tuesday
*Well done to all the children from 5th and 6th classes that took part in the Marathon Kids run on Thursday in Ballymore Eustace GAA club with David Gillick.
*Swimming will start on Wednesday May 1st for 2nd/3rd classes. The cost is €70 for the six weeks and can be paid to the class teacher. Children are asked to bring goggles and armbands unless they are very competent swimmers.
*Well done to Niamh Duff, Finbarr Metcalfe, Rory Metcalfe, Morgan Moore, Aoife Metcalfe, Emma Duff and Lauren Moore who did really well at the Community Games last weekend.
*The Parents Association are holding a clothes/shoes collection from Wednesday May 8th to Wednesday May 15th.

Westside Community Games Area Athletics finals will take place Sunday 28th April at 6.00 pm
Venue : Blackmore Donard (old athletics grounds)
This is a qualifying event for Shillelagh (community games county finals ) which takes place on June 15th.
