Newsletter 18th January

Newsletter January 18th

We hope that you are all keeping safe and well during this strange time. Following an announcement by the department of education late on Friday evening it appears that Solas will open next Thursday. No definite date has yet been given for the reopening of the whole school but we will keep you informed as soon as the information becomes available to us.

Many thanks to you all for your support for our online learning. We have had full engagement from everybody and this is very important to have continuity of learning. It is very important for the children to have a routine around their remote learning but to remember to also get some fresh air and time for relaxing. If anybody has any problems in relation to their remote learning, please contact us and we will do whatever we can to try to resolve the issue.

We had some water damage to one of our classrooms and a resource room following burst pipes last week. Work is ongoing to repair the damage.

Music generation piano, flute and guitar lessons are continuing online.

Ailbhe is doing her class music lessons online and your child’s teacher will put the link for it on Seesaw.

Please see below information on up-coming course for parents on helping their child with Irish.
