  • We appeal to parents to continue to be vigilant if your child is displaying any of the symptoms below and not to send children to school if they are unwell.

Common Covid symptoms include:

Fever, Cough, Tiredness, Loss of taste or smell

Less common symptoms include:

Sore throat, Headache, Aches and pains, Diarrhoea, A rash on skin, Red or irritated eyes

  • In line with guidance from the Department of Education and NPHET children from 3rd to 6th are now wearing face masks in school. We are extremely grateful for the huge level of cooperation we have received from you on this new directive.
  • Santa’s elves have been busy and we have magic reindeer food for sale in all our classes. It costs €1 and all proceeds go to Solas. Many thanks to 6th class for their help with this project.
  • Our Greenschools committee held a Day of Action on Friday which was extremely successful. Huge thanks to Ms. Dunne and Ms. Raleigh for all their work in organising the day. A competition to make a piece of art using recycled materials based on the theme of 'Global Citizenship and waste' was held. We received a huge amount of entries, the competition was extremely tough and the eventual winner was Jack Hynes from 3rd
  • If you have changed address or phone number recently could you please let us know.
  • We would ask that children do not exchange Christmas gifts or cards in school as this can cause upset to those not included.
